Services Utilized: Pay Per Click Campaign Management
Goal: This client approached us after having worked with 3 other Pay Per Click Management companies. Their goal was to decrease the overall cost of their current monthly PPC ad spend by employing some creative and “out of the box” PPC optimization strategies. The client wanted to maintain the same amount of monthly sales that they were currently obtaining, but at lower monthly PPC advertising cost.
Our Solution: After examining the client’s website traffic from the past 2-years, we were able to spot a few large opportunities in which we could optimize the client’s PPC account. The largest opportunity that we spotted was the disparity between online traffic from various devices. Mobile, Tablet, and Desktop had huge variations in PPC traffic. However, the client’s PPC campaigns were not optimized to capitalize on segmented bid strategies for each device.
Result: Client’s initial monthly PPC advertising budget was over $20k. We reduced this ad spend amount by 31% while increasing their existing CTR (Click through rates) via ad variant testing. By optimizing existing ads and segmenting device targets, we were able to not only decrease monthly ad costs by 31%, but we were also able to increase sales by 19%.
